
Mr. Dillingham has a B. S. in Music Education from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts, and has done graduate work at Berklee College of Music in Boston and VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. He has been teaching in the Braintree Public Schools for thirty-four years and currently enjoys teaching music to students in grades one through five. Previously, he taught vocal and instrumental music at the middle and high school levels in Braintree.
As Minister of Worship and Music at the Community Covenant Church in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, he directs the choir, leads the worship services, and plays piano for the Worship Team, Shepherd’s Rock. He is also the Music Minister and organist for St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church in North Dighton, Massachusetts. He also directs the Harmony Youth Chorus of Quincy at the First Baptist Church of Wollaston in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Mr. Dillingham plays the piano, organ, clarinet, and saxophone. He has performed vocally with Inspiration, a sacred music ensemble, the Braintree Choral Society, the Choral Union and the A Cappella Choir of Eastern Nazarene College, and the Directors’ Summer Institute Choir of Moody Bible Institute. His professors have included Robert Brown, Lambert Brandes, and Olive Marple at Eastern Nazarene College, Faith Leuth and Michael Rendish at Berklee College of Music, and John Rutter at VanderCook College of Music.
He is listed in Who’s Who Among American Educations and Who’s Who Among American Professionals.
His hobbies include reading, traveling in his RV, staying current with computer technology, and caring for his two greyhounds!
